A certain puppy puppy
Ryder Roo Spunky Dude
ate
my favorite painting apron strap.
So today I got around to a mini
re-pair and a little funkalish upgrade.
The ugly before photo
Strap redo
And the funkadoo.
Now I can mess it up more
with paint and all manner of
stuff.
What did your puppy or kitty eat this week?

Miss Kitty is in heaven so I'm sure she ate anything she wanted!
ReplyDeleteLOL! I like the *new* strap! Both of my furbabies are bored now that the Christmas decorations are down!!! They have to go back to their old cat nip toys!
ReplyDeleteAwwww - I don't believe such innocent looking puppies could possibly have eaten anything!
ReplyDeleteThat is the cutest photo!! Can't wait to see how your apron progresses throughout the year!
ReplyDeleteWEll Jinx(the cat) lost his flea collar. Cannot find it any where! He's a house cat for heavens sake but i have looked everywhere. I'm very thankful though that those things come with a quick release so he didn't choke himself getting hung up somewhere.... :)Hugs! deb
ReplyDeleteWell, Corrine, Jake chews anything and everything. LOL. This week, he chewed and swallowed a piece of ear off his favorite toy ~ a little blue hard rubber doggie. It's really hard to keep track of what goes in that little mouth.
ReplyDeleteGlad you could repair your apron. It looks very artsy.

looks like someone knows how to get out of trouble andy keep you sweet!
ReplyDeleteLovely to visit your blog Corinne and see what you've been up to ... Ive been putting off going back to work so I can do things like TREK AROUND THE BLOGOSPHERE.
Hope 2012 is full of all the good things... Go well,
S
Love it he was trying to improve it for you ....my two chewed up the apple twigs i had brought in to put on the fire.....xx
ReplyDeleteahhh they look do good together...looking forward to see the finished piece.
ReplyDeleteLove the puppy chews! I miss them really. Your strap redo is wonderful - good save! :) xxoo
ReplyDeletethe apron is fab. love the doggy pile up. troublesome kitty #1 was very drawn to the smell of rubbing alcohol today, but thankfully didn't drink any. though after leaving a 6 inch scratch across my cheek I was tempted to slip some in his water dish....
ReplyDeleteA divine restoration my friend! Our friendly pups helped clean up after my grand daughter. I won't say more than that.....
ReplyDeleteha,ha! it looks so much more like an artist's apron now! thank you, puppy!
ReplyDeletethanks for sharing,
hugs, peggy aplSEEDS
Awesome apron redo! I am jealous, seriously!
ReplyDeleteYour pooches are too cute for words...I love them!
Sew wild! It's awesome! The puppy's look adorably comfy.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!

Gorgeous apron redo artist friend! Your dog animals are so cool. Lovely and I bet they are great to share a life with!! *smiles* Norma
ReplyDeleteI love your remade apron! Most clever. No animals in the house at this time... however the wild birds are feasting themselves on the sunflower seed and suet we have out for them. Does that count?
ReplyDeleteThe repair looks awesome! :) Cute puppies, too! :)
ReplyDeleteCan I see 3 puppies in the photo? They look so cute and relaxed. Your apron has obvioulsy turned out for the better having been chewed, now with its new retro strap.
ReplyDeleteNaughty Ryder! But your straps would not be so special had it not been for him. : )
ReplyDeleteMy dog, Hurley is totally into sticks these days.
Thank you thank you for your always bright shiny encouraging comments on my art Corrine. : ))) xxoo
Thankfully Sasha is (most of the time) past that stage!!! But she used to always go for my most expensive high heels... maybe she knew they were bad for my joints and was just looking out for my health :)
ReplyDelete... and it makes the smock all the more interesting. Thanks to the dog!
ReplyDeleteBest,

Aren't they worth it though! I love my pup to death (even when he ate a full 4 sticks of butter and puked it all up on our carpet--not coming out EVER).
ReplyDeleteThe apron is much improved!!
Puppies on a quilt, what could be better than that! Love the improved apron!
ReplyDeleteDon't they just look so sweet and innocent? When they are sleeping, that is. LOL
ReplyDeleteAww, look at them on the quilt! Just adorable. :)
ReplyDeleteWhen my Harry was still around, his favorite thing to nom on was... me! Every morning he'd lead me down the stairs by the shirt sleeve, nibbling the fabric and pinching my arm. He'd also knock me down, take off my shoes and nibble my sock feet.
I like the apron repair! Also... have I told you how much I love your blog header??? It's gorgeous!
Ha Ha Ha! I just posted about how Lucy has been eating my crochet! Cute photos of your pups and cool apron!
ReplyDeleteAdorable! and ready for all the work!
ReplyDelete... and my Nina, never ate something "so special ".. :))
I love Ryder, I think much of him ...
