RE-Pair

A certain puppy puppy

Ryder Roo Spunky Dude
ate
my favorite painting apron strap.
So today I got around to a mini
re-pair and a little funkalish upgrade.

The ugly before photo

Strap redo

And the funkadoo.

Now I can mess it up more
with paint and all manner of
stuff.

What did your puppy or kitty eat this week?

  2. LOL! I like the *new* strap! Both of my furbabies are bored now that the Christmas decorations are down!!! They have to go back to their old cat nip toys!

  5. WEll Jinx(the cat) lost his flea collar. Cannot find it any where! He's a house cat for heavens sake but i have looked everywhere. I'm very thankful though that those things come with a quick release so he didn't choke himself getting hung up somewhere.... :)Hugs! deb

  6. Well, Corrine, Jake chews anything and everything. LOL. This week, he chewed and swallowed a piece of ear off his favorite toy ~ a little blue hard rubber doggie. It's really hard to keep track of what goes in that little mouth.
Glad you could repair your apron. It looks very artsy.

  11. the apron is fab. love the doggy pile up. troublesome kitty #1 was very drawn to the smell of rubbing alcohol today, but thankfully didn't drink any. though after leaving a 6 inch scratch across my cheek I was tempted to slip some in his water dish....

  17. I love your remade apron! Most clever. No animals in the house at this time... however the wild birds are feasting themselves on the sunflower seed and suet we have out for them. Does that count?

  19. Can I see 3 puppies in the photo? They look so cute and relaxed. Your apron has obvioulsy turned out for the better having been chewed, now with its new retro strap.

  20. Naughty Ryder! But your straps would not be so special had it not been for him. : )

My dog, Hurley is totally into sticks these days.

Thank you thank you for your always bright shiny encouraging comments on my art Corrine. : ))) xxoo

  21. Thankfully Sasha is (most of the time) past that stage!!! But she used to always go for my most expensive high heels... maybe she knew they were bad for my joints and was just looking out for my health :)

  23. Aren't they worth it though! I love my pup to death (even when he ate a full 4 sticks of butter and puked it all up on our carpet--not coming out EVER).

    The apron is much improved!!

  25. Don't they just look so sweet and innocent? When they are sleeping, that is. LOL

  26. Aww, look at them on the quilt! Just adorable. :)

When my Harry was still around, his favorite thing to nom on was... me! Every morning he'd lead me down the stairs by the shirt sleeve, nibbling the fabric and pinching my arm. He'd also knock me down, take off my shoes and nibble my sock feet.

I like the apron repair! Also... have I told you how much I love your blog header??? It's gorgeous!
