art journal. Less than perfect
is my way of being. I don't like
directions, really just want to
do it my way,
or the wabi sabi highway
so I never quite make it perfect
which suits me just perfectly!
Ready to add to, draw in,
paint in, create whatever
might come to me in this
re-created journal from
already painted pages.

The orange and turquoise are a beautiful contrast here! What an inspirational journal. Totally agree with the imperfectly perfect theme in your work, I am like that with painting but definitely a perfectionist when it comes to my metal work.

ReplyDeleteWhat a great start to 2012. One of the things on my to-do list this year is to try binding my own journal or small book - yours looks "perfectly" done .... maybe I'll move the idea higher on my list :)
